This guide will help you create a project in the DAAI Business Suit. Before proceeding, ensure that you have created the client profile, as the project is associated with a specific client.
Steps to Create a Project:
Access the Project Module: Navigate to the Projects Module, Click on the “Add” Buttons
Fill Out the Mandatory Fields: Complete all fields marked with an asterisk (*) to proceed successfully.
Project Name: Enter the name of the project you are creating. Make sure it’s descriptive for easy identification.
Client: Select the client from the dropdown menu. This links the project to the appropriate client profile.
Project Owner: Choose the person/team responsible for overseeing the project.
Project Type: Select the type of project (e.g., Development, Maintenance, Marketing, etc.).
Project Category: Specify the category under which the project falls, such as Web Application, Software, or IT Infrastructure.
Project Currency: Choose the currency in which the project will operate (e.g., USD, EUR, INR).
Project Status: Set the current status of the project (e.g., Initiated, In Progress, Completed).
Documents (Optional): Use the Choose Files button to upload any relevant documents (e.g., contracts, requirement specifications, or project plans).
Add Notes (Optional) : Use the Notes field to include additional information about the project, such as objectives, key milestones, or specific requirements.
Save the Details:
Click the Save button to finalize the project creation process.
If you need to exit without saving, click the Close button.
Additional Notes:
- Client Association: A project cannot exist without a client. Always ensure the correct client is selected.
- Review Details: Double-check the information for accuracy before saving.
- Project Status: Update the status regularly to reflect the project’s progress.
