How to Create Proforma Invoice?

Follow these simple steps to create and download a proforma invoice:

Select Project and Dates:

Project: Choose the relevant project from the dropdown.

Invoice Date: Set the date for the invoice.

Due Date: Enter the payment due date.

Add Billing Items:

Click Add Billing Item.

Fill in the following details:

Type: Select the type of billing (e.g., Search, CR, Package).

Title: Pick the appropriate item from the dropdown.

Amount: Enter the billing amount.

The system will auto-calculate taxes (CGST, SGST, IGST) and update the totals below.

Attach Supporting Documents (Optional):

Use the Choose Files button to upload any necessary documents.

Add Notes (Optional):

Enter any specific details in the Notes section.

Save and Download the Invoice: 

Click the Save button to finalize the invoice. After saving, go to the grid (list of invoices).

Locate your invoice and click the Download button to download it.

Finalize the Proforma Invoice

Once the proforma invoice is created, switch to View Mode.

In View Mode, you’ll find a Finalize button.

Click Finalize to convert the proforma invoice into a standard invoice.

Additional Notes :

  • Mandatory Fields: Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required and must be filled to proceed.
  • Auto-Calculations: The system will automatically calculate subtotals, taxes, and the grand total based on the amounts entered. Ensure your tax percentages are correct.
  • Multiple Items: You can add multiple billing items by clicking the Add Billing Item button. Each item will contribute to the overall total.
  • Editing: Use the Remove button to delete an item or edit any details before saving.
  • Invoice List: All saved proforma invoices are stored in the invoice grid. You can view, edit, or re-download them anytime from there.
