The Follow-Up Module in your ERP system is designed to help manage and track interactions with prospects and opportunities. It consolidates important information in a user-friendly grid and dashboard, providing an overview of the status and progress of your leads, sales activities, and ongoing opportunities.

Here’s a quick guide to understanding the key features of the module:

Key Columns in the Follow-Up Grid:

  • Status:
    This column indicates the current status of each prospect or opportunity. Common status options include stages like “New”, “In Progress”, “Closed-Won”, or “Closed-Lost”. This helps you quickly assess the pipeline and prioritize your actions.
  • Last FU (Follow-Up):
    Displays the most recent follow-up activity with the prospect or opportunity. This could be a call, meeting, or email interaction. It gives you a quick glance at when the last engagement occurred.
  • Next FU (Follow-Up):
    Shows the scheduled date or planned next action for following up with the prospect or opportunity. By keeping track of upcoming follow-ups, you ensure no lead is neglected and helps maintain a consistent sales process.
  • Cost:
    The cost associated with the opportunity or sale. This could refer to potential revenue or the investment needed to close the deal. It’s useful for tracking the profitability of each opportunity and monitoring your pipeline’s financial health.
  • Company Name:
    The name of the company associated with the prospect or opportunity. This helps identify which businesses you are engaging with and allows for easy filtering and sorting of opportunities by company.

Grid View & Dashboard:

  • The Follow-Up Module provides a grid view where you can easily filter and sort prospects and opportunities based on any of the columns mentioned above. The grid allows for fast data entry, edits, and navigation between different follow-ups.
  • In addition to the grid, the module also offers a dashboard view, where you can visualize key metrics and trends. The dashboard will display the status of your prospects and opportunities, allowing you to quickly gauge the overall health of your sales pipeline and follow-up activities.
