How to Create Opportunity ?

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an Opportunity :

Step 1: Open the Opportunity Form

Log in to the DAAI Business Suit.

Navigate to the Opportunities section from the sidebar menu.

Click on the “Create Opportunity” button to add Mannually.

If Converting from Leads or Prospects? 

If the opportunity is created by converting a lead or prospect, the form will automatically fill in details from the lead or prospect. You can review and modify these details as needed.

Step 2: Fill in the Opportunity Details

The Opportunity Form consists of several fields. Follow these steps to ensure accurate input:

General Information:

Lead Source: Select where the opportunity originated (e.g., Website, Referral) from the dropdown menu.

Opportunity Stage: Select the current stage of the opportunity (e.g., Prospecting, Negotiation, Won).

Important: If you select “Won,” a Client ID will be automatically created, and the details will appear in the Clients Module.

Lead Owner: Choose the person responsible for managing the opportunity from the dropdown.

Project Information:

Project Description: Provide a brief description of the project related to the opportunity.

Cost: Enter the estimated cost or value of the project.

Key Dates:

Last Follow-up Date: Specify the most recent date you contacted the lead or prospect.

Next Date: Input the next scheduled follow-up date.

Inquiry Date: Add the date when the inquiry or interest was received.

Company and Contact Details:

Company No.: Enter the company’s registration number, if applicable.

Tax ID: Input the company’s tax identification number.

First Name: Add the contact’s first name.

Last Name: Input the contact’s last name.

Designation: Specify the contact’s job title (e.g., Manager, CEO).

Company Name: Add the organization name associated with the opportunity.

Phone No.: Provide the main contact number.

Cell No.: Enter an alternate mobile number.

Email: Input the contact’s primary email address.

Alt Email: Add a backup email address, if available.

Web: Provide the company’s website link.

IM: Enter an instant messaging ID (e.g., Skype, Teams).

Address Information:

Street: Add the contact’s street address.

City: Specify the city.

Postal Code: Input the postal/ZIP code.

State: Enter the state.

Country: Select the country from the dropdown menu.

Additional Details:

Documents: Upload relevant files (e.g., project proposals, contracts) using the Upload File button.

Notes: Use this section to add any extra information or remarks related to the opportunity.

Step 3: Save the Opportunity

After completing the form, review all details for accuracy.

Click the Save button to store the opportunity in the system.

A confirmation message will appear when the opportunity is successfully created.

Step 4: Key Features and Automation

The DAAI Business Suit has several useful features to streamline opportunity management:

Conversion from Leads or Prospects: 

If you converted a lead or prospect to an opportunity, all relevant fields in the Opportunity Form will already be filled with the lead or prospect’s details.

Review the autofilled data, and make any necessary adjustments before saving.

Automatic Client Creation:

When you set the Opportunity Stage to “Won”, a Client ID will be created automatically.

The client’s details will be visible in the Clients Module for future reference and project tracking.

Follow-Up History:

Changing the Lead Stage or Opportunity Stage creates a record in the History Module with the date and time of the change.

These updates are also visible in the Follow-Up Module and on the Dashboard, making it easy to track all interactions and progress.

Step 5: Monitoring Opportunities

Opportunities Section: View all saved opportunities, filter by stage, and manage them as they progress.

Follow-Up Module: Keep track of all scheduled and completed follow-ups for the opportunity.

Dashboard Insights: Gain an overview of opportunities and their status on the dashboard.

Pro Tips :

Mandatory Fields: Pay close attention to required fields marked with an asterisk (*). These must be filled in to save the form.

Consistent Updates: Regularly update the Opportunity Stage to maintain an accurate pipeline.

Attach Relevant Documents: Use the upload feature to store project files or supporting documents directly within the opportunity.
