How to generate Statements?

Generating statements in DaaI Business Suite is straightforward. Statements are run from Reporting > Statements (the compliance page) — not from Reporting > Reports, which is the analytics page. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Statements Module

  1. Sign in to DaaI Business Suite.
  2. From the left sidebar, navigate to Reporting > Statements.

Step 2: Set the Date Range

  • Locate the Start Date and End Date fields at the top of the page.
  • Click the calendar icon, or type the dates directly in dd-MMM-yyyy format.
  • Start Date — the beginning of the period you want to analyze.
  • End Date — the last day of the period.

Step 3: Select the Statement Type

Tick one or more checkboxes for the statement(s) you need:

  • TDS Expenses — Tax Deducted at Source details.
  • Invoices & Payments — summary of all invoices and payments.
  • Expenses by Invoice (accrual basis) — every expense recorded by invoice.
  • GST Expenses — Goods & Services Tax-related expenses (CGST / SGST / IGST).
  • Expenses by Payment (cash basis) — expenses recorded when paid.
  • Ledger Report — chronological double-entry ledger for the period.

Step 4: Generate the Statement

  • After selecting the date range and statement type(s), click Generate Report.
  • The system compiles the data and renders the tables on-screen.

Step 5: Export the Statement

  • Once the statement is generated, locate the Export button.
  • Click to download in your preferred format (PDF, Excel, or CSV — availability depends on the statement).

📌 Tips for Generating Accurate Statements:

  • Double-check the date range to ensure it covers the period you need.
  • For very large date ranges (≥ 1 year), expect a few seconds of processing — be patient.
  • Export immediately after generating — switching dates clears the on-screen view.
  • For year-end audits, generate every statement in one shot.
