The Reporting Module in DaaI Business Suite helps you understand, manage, and optimize your company’s financial, compliance, and marketing performance. It is divided into two main areas — Statements for compliance and record-keeping, and Reports for strategic, analytical decision-making.
📑 1. Statements
This section focuses on your financial records and compliance-related reporting. Use these tools for tax preparation, payment tracking, and internal audits.
Subfunctions:
- TDS Expenses
Track all transactions with Tax Deducted at Source applied. Helps with TDS return filing and vendor compliance. - GST Expenses
Shows a breakdown of all GST-related expenses. Includes CGST, SGST, and IGST for easier tax filing and input-credit claiming. - Invoices & Payments
Get a complete view of invoices issued and the payments received or pending. Filter by client, due date, or amount. - Expenses by Invoice (accrual basis)
View expenses based on accrual accounting — recorded when incurred, not when paid. Great for matching costs to revenue. - Expenses by Payment (cash basis)
Displays only cash-based expense transactions — essential for cash-flow analysis and petty-cash audits. - Ledger Report
Chronological double-entry ledger view of every transaction posted in the period — the go-to view for reconciliation and internal audit.
📊 2. Reports
This section gives you a strategic view of your business with comparisons, analytics, and performance tracking.
Available Reports:
- PnL by Range
Generate a Profit & Loss statement for any custom date range. Helps in reviewing business performance, profitability, and trends. - PnL Yearly
Year-over-year Profit & Loss summary — quickly compare full-year performance across financial years. - PnL Comparison
Side-by-side PnL between two ranges. Perfect for “this quarter vs last quarter” or “this year vs last year” reviews. - Sales Revenue Report
Drill down into income sources and revenue trends. Useful for identifying high-performing clients, projects, and revenue streams. - Marketing Report
Track lead performance and sales-funnel health. Compare lead statuses across stages, campaigns, sources, or time frames to optimize marketing efforts.
📦 3. Stock On Hand
A live snapshot of every Catalog item with its current on-hand quantity. Only items configured with Has Quantity Limit = On appear here. Useful before raising large quotes or planning purchase orders.
📌 PnL income structure
Income on the PnL is computed as:
- Sales (Excl. GST)
- + Sales GST
- + Forex Gain
There is no Goods-vs-Services bifurcation — the structure is intentionally flat for clarity.
💼 PnL Payroll bucket (v2)
Salary plus statutory liabilities — PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax — sit together in a dedicated PAYROLL section, separate from general expenses.
📌 Important: Total Taxes on the PnL is computed as TDS + Net GST Payable (Output GST − Input GST), not a sum of every individual tax row.
