Settings (System)

The Settings (System) section configures everything the in-app modules need — company profile, leaves, salary, currency, dropdown master values, holidays, and attendance. Most of these are required before you can create your first employee, invoice, or expense.

  1. Primary Settings — Company profile (logo, GSTIN, PAN, registered address, default currency, financial-year start).
  2. Dropdown Settings (formerly “Dropdown Options”) — Master list of dropdowns used across the suite (Departments, Designations, Statuses, Lead/Client Source, Expense Type, Payment Mode, Catalog Categories, etc.).
  3. Leaves Settings — Leave types, sandwich rule, carry-forward, encashment, probation/notice-period leave policy.
  4. Salary Settings — Calculation type (Month Days vs Working Days), weekend pattern.
  5. Currency Settings — Base + allowed foreign currencies, “Receive Foreign Currency” toggle.
  6. Attendance Settings — Biometric / manual / geo-based attendance modes, late-mark and half-day rules.
  7. Holiday — Public + company holidays for the financial year (used by leave and salary calculations).

💡 First time setting things up? Run the Config Wizard (Settings > Config Wizard) on first login. It walks you through Primary, Leaves, Salary, Currency, Dropdown, and Holiday in one guided flow. You can re-open it anytime.

📌 Note: Catalog Categories are now managed inside Dropdown Settings rather than as a separate page.
