Common Queries

  1. What do the financial amounts represent, and how are they calculated?

The financial amounts represent the totals for the date range you select on the Financials card (Today, Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Year, Last Year, or a Custom range). They are calculated based on data inputted into the system, categorized by various sources or departments.

  2. How can I drill down into specific financial data to understand individual transactions?

The Dashboard provides a quick overview of financial transactions, including amounts, categories, etc. For more specific financial reporting, open the Reporting Module (Reporting → Reports or Reporting → Statements).

  3. What is the purpose of the “Upcoming Follow-Ups” section?

This section helps salespeople quickly view current sales follow-ups for the leads they have access to, ensuring timely communication and better relationship management. The card has its own date range selector in the header.

  4. How is user leave data organized, and what does the status column indicate?

User leave data is organized by name, leave type, dates, and status. The status column reflects the current step of the leave workflow — Pending HoD, Approved HoD, Pending Manager, Approved, Rejected, or Cancelled. Click any leave entry to open its detailed view, where you can view or edit it based on your role & permissions.

  5. How are leads categorized in the “Leads by Source” chart?

Leads are categorized by their Source field (Website, Social Media, Email Campaign, Referral, etc.) — sources are configurable under Settings → Dropdown Settings → Lead Source. The chart shows total counts and percentages so you can see at a glance where most leads are coming from.

  6. How can we track the conversion rate for each lead source?

Use the Sales Funnel, which links leads from different sources to their eventual outcomes (e.g., Won, Requirement Gathering, Quote Submitted, Negotiation). The funnel represents every lead’s current stage and the expected revenue based on the data entered from the CRM module.

  7. What does the Sales Funnel represent?

The Sales Funnel shows the progression of leads through the different stages of the sales process, from initial contact to final conversion. The funnel consists of leads from both the Prospect and Opportunity modules, and the stages match the editable Opportunity Stage dropdown.

  8. What is the purpose of the Announcements on the dashboard?

The Announcements module displays short, time-bound messages on the dashboard. It serves as a centralized communication channel for important updates, reminders, and celebrations. All authenticated users with dashboard access will see active announcements based on their permissions and the announcement visibility settings.

  9. Can I export the data from the dashboard?

Yes — each chart has its own export menu (hamburger icon in the top-right of the chart) that supports JPG, PNG, SVG, and CSV formats. Exports are chart-by-chart; there is no single one-click export for the whole dashboard.

  10. Why don’t I see the Follow-ups card?

You need at least Read Own or Read All permission on Prospect or Opportunity.

  11. Why don’t I see the User’s Leaves card?

You need at least Read Own or Read All permission on Leaves.
