The Holiday Calendar is a visual tool that highlights company holidays, weekends, and other important dates. The card shows the current month with holidays and weekends clearly marked, helping teams plan and stay aligned.
- Navigation Buttons: The calendar includes ‹ › buttons to navigate to the previous and next month.
- Highlighted Holidays and Weekends: Official holidays and weekends are clearly marked in red so they stand out. This helps employees easily identify days off and plan accordingly.
- Holiday Tooltip: On hovering over any holiday, a tooltip appears showing the name of the holiday and any notes, providing more details about that specific day.
Where do these holidays come from?
Holidays are pulled from Settings → Holiday. An admin maintains the list. Changes apply immediately to:
- This Dashboard card.
- The Leaves Apply form (so employees see non-working days while picking dates).
- Salary calculations (when relevant rules are configured).
Visibility
The Holidays Calendar is always visible to everyone — it has no role restriction.
