Actions Menu (in List View)

⚙️The Actions Menu is a dropdown found in most modules of Daai Business Suite. It contains bulk operations and special tools that allow you to manage records more efficiently.

1️⃣ Where to Find It

  • Visible in the top-right corner of most list views (grids).
  • Appears when you open a module such as Leads, Clients, Projects, Employees, Finance, etc.

2️⃣ Common Actions Available

While options vary by module, the most common ones are:

  • 📥 Import → Upload pre-filled CSV/Excel files into the system.
  • 📤 Export → Download system data into CSV/Excel for offline use.
  • 🔄 Convert → Transform one type of record into another (e.g., Leads → Prospects).

3️⃣ How It Works

📥 Import

      • Download the sample file template.
      • Fill in the required data fields.
      • Upload the file back into the system.
      • Records will be created instantly.

📤 Export

      • Select specific records or export all.
      • Data will be generated in CSV/Excel format.
      • Useful for reporting, backups, or data migration.

🔄 Convert (Only in CRM)

      • Select multiple records in the list view.
      • Choose Convert from the Actions menu.
      • Example: In CRM
        • Convert Leads → Prospects
        • Convert Prospect → Leads.

4️⃣ Key Benefits

  • Save time by handling records in bulk.
  • Ensure consistency with structured imports.
  • Easy reporting via exports.
  • Seamless workflow (e.g., move Leads → Prospects → Clients).

5️⃣ Best Practices

  • Always validate your data before importing.
  • Use export regularly for backup and audits.
  • Double-check converted records to avoid misclassification.
