📊 Managing large sets of data can be overwhelming. To make navigation easier, Daai Business Suite provides Filters, Sorting, and Column Controls in every List View across all modules. These tools help you quickly find the information you need.
1️⃣ Filters
- Located on top of every List View.
- Allow you to narrow down records without scrolling through the full list.
- Types of Filters:
- Dropdown Filters → Choose from predefined options (e.g., Project Status = “Ongoing”).
- Text / Keyword Filters → Enter keywords to match fields like Name, Email, ID.
- Date Filters → Search by date ranges with quick presets (Today, This Week, This Month, This FY, Custom) — e.g., Expenses between 01-Apr to 30-Apr.
- Example: In HRM → Filter Employees by Department = “Sales”.
- Your filter choices persist for the current session and reset on logout.
2️⃣ Sorting
- Available on most column headers in List View.
- Click on a column to sort ascending; click again for descending.
- Sorting affects the entire record set, not just the current page.
- Some computed columns (e.g., calculated totals) are non-sortable and will not respond.
- Example: Sort the “Invoice Amount” column to see the highest or lowest billed customers.
3️⃣ Column Show / Hide
- Lets you customize your List View.
- Features:
- Show only the fields that matter to you.
- Hide unused or less relevant columns.
- Save a cleaner, focused view of data.
- Hidden columns are still included when you Export the grid — they just don’t show on screen.
- Example: In Clients List → Hide “Created By” column if not needed, but keep “Phone Number” and “Email”.
💡 Tips
- Use Filters before Search — narrowing first makes search results more useful.
- Hide columns you rarely look at; they’re still exported when you Export the grid.
