First Time Configuration

🌐 First-Time Configuration in Daai Business Suite – An Overview

When a new tenant subscribes to Daai Business Suite, the system comes preloaded with essential features but requires initial setup to match the unique needs of your organization. The goal of this configuration is to ensure that all modules — HRM, Finance, CRM, and Projects — work in sync with your company’s structure, policies, and data formats.

The first time an admin logs in, the application opens the Setup Wizard automatically and walks you through the same six core areas described below. You can also configure each area manually from the Settings menu — both approaches produce the same result. The wizard can be re-opened anytime from Settings → Config Wizard.

🎯 Purpose of First-Time Configuration

  • Standardization: Ensures dropdowns, company information, salary rules, and leave policies are consistent across all modules.
  • Accuracy: Correct setup avoids discrepancies in reports, salary slips, invoices, and compliance documents.
  • Flexibility: Allows businesses to define their own leave rules, salary calculation methods, and currency usage.
  • Scalability: Proper setup means future data entry and reporting remain reliable as your business grows.

⚡ How to Use the Configuration

  • Treat this as your foundation setup — once done, daily operations become smoother.
  • Remember that changes affect all future records, but never rewrite past ones.
  • Keep dropdowns clean and updated, as they directly impact reporting quality.
  • Review leave and salary policies carefully — they define employee entitlements and payroll accuracy.
  • Ensure currency selection matches your invoicing and payment structure.
  • Each Settings sub-page opens in read mode by default; click Edit to make changes and Save to apply.
