How to apply leave?

  1. Go to HRM → Leaves.
  2. Click ➕ Add.
  3. Fill in:
    1. Type of Leave: Choose from available types (Casual, Sick, Earned, Special).
    2. From & To Dates: Select your leave start and end date.
    3. Leave Type Status:
    4. Paid – Uses your available balance.
    5. Unpaid – Salary will be reduced.
    6. Both – Some days paid, some unpaid.
    7. Pending – Waiting for approval.
    8. Reason: Brief reason (example: “Medical leave – fever”).
    9. Handover Person: Optional — person covering your work.
    10. Attachments: Optional documents like medical certificates, tickets, etc.
  4. Click Save.

After You Apply

  • If your Reporting Manager or HOD approves, the leave will be marked as Approved.

  • If they reject, it will be marked as Rejected (and salary will deduct for those days if you were absent).

  • You can check the status anytime in your Leaves list.

💡 Tip: Always check your Leave Balance before applying to avoid unpaid leave deductions.

Important: Once approved, you cannot change your leave unless you have an Override User role.
